The Municipality of Arroyo Selects the Grand Marshal of the Arroyano Carnival 2025

Arroyo, Puerto Rico - January 25, 2025

The Municipality of Arroyo is pleased to announce that the Grand Marshall of the 2025 Arroyano Carnival will be the outstanding Professor and Singer, Zaida Monte Sabater . This honor highlights her contribution to culture, education and her artistic talent that has enriched our community over the years.

The official announcement took place this Saturday at the home of Professor Monte Sabater, where the Honorable Mayor Eric Bachier Román , accompanied by the Director of Tourism Edwin Gutiérrez, personally delivered the news to her, recognizing her career and her positive impact on the town of Arroyo.

“Zaida represents the values and passion that we wish to highlight in our festivities. Her commitment to the culture and education of Arroyo has left an indelible mark on our community, and it is a true honor to have her as this year’s Grand Marshall,” said Mayor Bachier Román.

The Arroyano Carnival 2025 promises to be an unforgettable celebration, full of color, music and tradition that will be held between February 14 and 16, 2025. We invite all Arroyanos and visitors to join us in this event to pay tribute to our culture and our Grand Marshal.
