The Section 8 Program is a Federal Program that offers a range of sub-programs for the benefit of low-income families.

The sub-programs are the following:

-Voucher Program

-Offer safe and adequate housing to low-income families, providing them with a rental subsidy so that they can rent a property in the private market.

-Family Self Sufficiency Program Reduce the number of low-income families, beneficiaries of economic assistance and with Section 8 housing assistance, by helping them to purchase a home. This is achieved through opportunities in education, job training, counseling and other forms of social service assistance necessary to achieve economic independence.
